DISCLAIMER: Originally, roughly 80% of the outline for this story was planned out prior to summer 2001. The majority of the actual story was written during that summer, and then because of the busy lives of myself and my "editors," it is taking a while to finish (much longer than expected, sorry!)... You might notice that for the prior stories in this trilogy, we tried to keep the timelines paralleled with real-life occurrences, i.e. making sure we included the correct months and/or relative dates for award shows, albums, video shoots, etc...However, when working on DWLYN, we were essentially writing about "the future" instead of the past, so this story thus has no real-life instances to build into the timeline...in a sense, this story truly delves into fiction when compared to the other two. Any lack of comments on AJ's rehab or discussion of the guys taking a "break" and Nick's solo career is the result of the fact that this story has nothing to do with what has happened in reality after the summer of 2001 and/or is happening in present day.
