~*Into The Millennium Tour*~
Concert memories...
(part 4)

The lights were off, then a spotlight came on, showing Nick . He was first to say his intro/hello type thing, and got a bit of a monologue, noting how they had scheduled another show for the next night. Then - don't kill me if I get the order wrong - the other guys seemed to re appear, taking their own turns, when the spotlight went off of Nick. It was - I think - Howie, AJ, Kevin, and then Brian. They all got their little moment of time to themselves to talk to us, separately, with a spotlight on them. AJ made one request - I think it was to scream continuously (noooo!!) - I think he used some other, better word usage, though ;o). Brian said he'd keep his short and sweet, and it was a basic thanx for coming. By the time this was over, and a little music interlude, each guy had had time to change and take a break.

"The One" was a nice refresher. The Boys started on the raised part of the stage. . If my memory serves me right - though we all know it doesn't all the time - they were wearing white.
"As Long As You Love Me" was sweet, as usual. The end of it was like the Disney concert - the boys retreated as 5 male dancers did some extra tricks with the chairs. The Boys of course disappeared behind the curtains surrounding the bottom of the stage.
"Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)"...hm...what can I say- I don't fully remember it - maybe cuz I'm so used to hearing them perform it? Eep don't kill meee! I do wish they had played the instruments though.... I think this is the pic
K...I'm not sure if this is in the right order...but I think during QPG...they were sitting, on each side of the stage, innocently dangling their feet of the edge, and singing. Then all of a sudden, they were hoisted up in the air, and went flying over the audience (well not the terrace audience...). The strings they were attached to took them towards the stage, out towards the audience, back towards the stage, and so on. When they were near the stage, the dancers threw up [what I could see were] teddy bears - or some gifts of some sort - for the Boys to catch. When they had a handful, it was about time for the strings to take them back away from the stage again, and they chucked the gifts into the awaiting sea of hands below with Kevin, AJ, and Brian were having a lot of fun flipping...and flipping...and flipping....
"Don't Wanna Lose You Now" was SOO good! AHH. It was sweet and slow and and - OKAY so I like the freakin' song! I can't fully recall what they were wearing...sorry! (short review for these songs, I know I know...but I can't think of what else to saaay!)
"The Perfect Fan" started out with Kevin explaining what was going to happen. Mother and daughter pairs had been picked from the audience to go up onstage while it was being sung. (*sniff* My mom was there! Did they pick poor little ol' us in the terrace?... NO!...wahh...). Who knows when the pairs were picked, but each boy sat with a pair on the stage, and introduced the moms and daughters to the audience. For awhile, they just sat there singing, and at one point each took the girl by the hand and led her around stage, yes, still singing. One of the moms had a camera and kept flashing it >_<.

After a bit of silence (no, I don't mean the screaming stopped, just the music did), The middle of the stage rose up again and red light focused on it. There was a grand white piano covered in red light....and sitting there playing it, was Kevin. The saxophone player (the only GIRL in the band - BOO YEAH!) accompanied him. After his instrumental piece, the other four showed up, sitting on the steps of the decagon on the stage - I think they said a few things - I'm not sure...!
Kevin was still high above with his piano, playing the intro to the next song, when they started singing - you guessed it, his song - "Back To Your Heart" . *sigh* They were all in black by now - possibly leather? Hmmm. The song was as sweet as ever (though I'm still a little mad that the Boy who wrote the song doesn't even get a solo in it...but let's not get into that...)
"Don't Want You Back" was interesting - and of course, full of energy. There were there odd silver ladder-type things on all 5 corners of the stage. A ladder has 2 poles going up on either side, supporting all the rungs (well these had one pole going up the middle, the rungs must have been stuck to them). The guys used their owns styles in dealing with these contraptions, while the dancers, of course, pranced around the stage. Kevin kept locking his legs around the top of pole, and hanging upside down - it was funny. From what I can remember, AJ and Brian were the only ones who perched up on top of the ladder-like things. Nick and Howie were having fun climbing up, and down, and up, and down...
