~*Into The Millennium Tour*~
Concert memories...
(part 3)

The Star Wars music started . On the opposite end of where we seated, everyone could see some odd-looking white glowing crystal-like things moving in a line on the floor. They were moving towards where the stage was. Two crystals traveled to each corner of the stage. The music kept going. You could faintly see the people - I assumed they were the dancers. I looked up from time to time, hoping to see the Boys flying down. The screaming had died down - only a bit - but erupted again...out of a black box opposite from us, underneath the terrace on the other side of the venue, spotlights clicked on to show the Boys on the air (yes, much lower than I had expected). They gracefully made their way to the stage. The dancers helped them off their "air boards" (or whatever you want to call them). They stood in a line on the side of the stage that they came in on, with the dancers lined up behind them. The stage was outlined with a thin neon green color that made its contours show up. The screen was showing different angles of what was going on. It zoomed in on Kevin and showed him nodding before the whole troop marched over to the next side of the 5 sided stage. They did this till they were back where they started - letting everyone see them for about 1 minute or less standing . Each time, Kevin nodded when they could go on.

(Note: about the order of the songs. Please don't kill me - but I can't remember the exact order! I know I know, I deserve to die - but, but...I just can't! I know a bit of the order, but not really...there were a lot of songs, k? I'll put 'em in the order I think is the most correct, but don't hold me to it! bare with me! *sniff*)

As soon as they reached the side of the stage where they had started, "Larger Than Life" began playing and I heard AJ's signature scream. Each Boy got one side of the stage to dance on, and now and then they'd rotate. The crowd of course loved it. Everyone was clapping to the beat and screaming(some girls behind us, extremely annoying, sounded like they never stopped to breathe...grr).
The center of the stage rose up - this surprised me. There was a pentagon inscribed the decagon (yeah that was already inscribed in the pentagon of the stage) that rose up, each side having a little ramp to climb. (I wonder what the instrumentalists thought about that when they 1st introduced the idea of something rising up behind them ;o). The Boys seemed to have fun running up and down (or even sliding down) the ramps. At pinnacle points of the song, they'd show up reunited in the raised center of the stage, only to disperse again to their respective sides of the stage. The song ended with them reunited in the center.

"Get Down (You're The One For Me)" was energetic of course also. I think it came right after "Larger Than Life" . All I can say is that it got the crowd hyped up even more (which I didn't think was possible at that point). The Boys disappeared under the stage - a breather/water brake I assumed...
