*Chapter 9 ~ The Lost Boys*

"YES!!!! NO LINE!!!" AJ yelled. He started to do and idiotic victory dance. It looked like he had scored a touchdown or something...Nick and Brian joined him.
"Thank you for refraining from almost cussing this time..." Jenny mumbled but smiled; it was a funny scene, three guys acting like kids.
"You guys got it allll wrong!" Lance broke in, "You gotta go like this!" He showed them an even more idiotic dance. Hannah was laughing hysterically. An attendant came and smiled at the boys, then gave Kevin, who seemed the most sane at the moment, 10 pairs of 3D glasses for him to distribute among the group.
"Hey, guys, you need the 3D glasses," Kevin hinted to them, placing a pair on his nose, as if trying to set an example, and then chucking a pair of glasses at everyone. "Oops....heads up." Kevin sweetly smiled as they hit AJ, Lance, Brian, and Nick in the head.
"A little late for the warning, cos," Brian smiled good-naturedly. He saw Julie was laughing. He had wanted to somehow talk to her and was hoping to snag a seat next to her in the theater.
"Guys, back to reality, we can go in...." Howie pointed at the open doors.
"Whoops! C'mon then!" Nick smirked. To Brian's dismay, Nick  grabbed onto Julie's hand, and dragged her in.
We followed and all tried to find rows to sit in inside the enormous theater. Nick began to precariously count the rows and numbers of chairs, taking time to find the exact middle of the theater, but his attempts failed as an announcer made it clear that everyone had to file all the way to the other side of the theater to make room. No matter, he dragged Julie to an open spot proudly. Jenny followed Julie, and AJ followed her. Brian gave up trying to sit next to Julie, and gave up trying to talk to her before the show started. He figured he'd have to talk to he the next chance he got, so he sat in the row right behind the already collected group, right behind Nick; this way he could see her silhouette and her reactions throughout the show, and also listen to everything Nick said to her. He felt bad with his eavesdropping intentions, but he felt he had to. Howie followed and sat by him, ending up behind Julie, but determined to make sure that AJ wasn't goin to harass Jenny, or vice versa. Hannah plopped down beside Howie, behind Jenny, and Lance joined her, behind AJ.
"Fine, just leave us out!" I yelled at the group; they had made 2 perfect rows of 4 people, excluding Kevin and me.
"Oh, our intentions, of course!" Hannah yelled down to me.
"Hey, let's be different..." Kevin started.
        "Like what?" I inquired.
"C'mon," he showed me to the very front row, where there were a few seats left.
"Uhh, N-O, no...me no sit here, tooo close to screen, " I complained.
"Y-E-S.... yes, we sit here, just right spot," he replied, catching onto my 'caveman-type' speech, making me sit down.
"Fine...but if I get hearing or vision damage, I'm gonna sue,"
"And I'll kick your ass in court" he replied.
"Oh whatever! Remember the old argument? I'd win."
        "Oh, wanna bet?"
        "No!"
        "Haha, weakling."
        "Nuh-uh"
        "Uh-huh"
        "Nuh-uh"
        "Uh-huh"
"Look, we're getting to a Brian and Nick level, can we stop?"
"Good point...truce?" Kevin thrust out his hand.
"NO!" I grinned back. He made a face and turned to look at the screen, slouched in his seat, then he mumbled under his breath.
        "I would beat you anyways."
        "Hey I heard that!"
"Oh, heard what?" he turned back to me, trying to sound innocent.
"Ugh, if only I had a pillow, I swear you would be paying at this moment..."
        "Is that another empty threat?"
"Ahhh, just shut up, its' starting!" I took my hand and placed it atop his head, turning it to the direction of the screen.
"Why thank you, I didn't know where the screen was."
        "I know you didn't...you're welcome." I smirked.
(up above us in their seats)
"Hey, are Sarah and Kev fighting...?" Brian inquired, trying to get Nick to stop his attempted conversation with Julie.
"Hehe, they are definitely at it!" AJ laughed.
"About time, " Lance added and Hannah nodded.
"And what was THAT supposed to mean?" Jenny asked.
"Shh...it's starting." Nick warned us as the lights dimmed, "C'mon, people, get them 3D glasses on!"
After an eventful trip, with that of being attacked by billions of mice, getting shrunk, blown up, and sneezed on by a huge dog, we piled out of the theater.
"That dog snot was gross!!!" Nick whined.
"You ARE the baby of the group," Julie commented.
"Of course, I'm allowed to be!" He wailed.
"Nick, grow up, " Kevin started.
        "NO," Nick replied.
"Just as I though," Kevin sighed, then whispered to me "I think he has the brain of a 5 year-old, maybe younger."
"HEY I heard that," Nick protested.
"Not too good with saying things softly enough, are we Kev?" I asked him. He smiled made a face.
"Dude, guys, can we go on a ride that I pick?" Lance broke in.
"And that would be...?" Hannah asked.
"Ummm, oh what is it called, Autopia or sumthin? Ya know, with all the puttering cars!" Lance replied, making hand with a steering wheel, making motions as if driving.
"OH yeah!!! Cool man, lesgo!!!!" Howie enthusiastically said.
        "Ummm..." Brian started.
"I..." Nick said at the same time.
        "WHAT" Jenny asked.
"We kinda need some food..." Brian explained.
        "Yeah, I'm hungry," Nick agreed.
"Are you two gonna turn out to be bottomless pits!?" Hannah observed.
"They already ARE.." Kevin, Howie, and AJ informed her in unison.
"Hey, I can join ya!" Hannah grinned knowingly.
"We girls know all too well about YOUR bottomless-pit-of-a-stomach, Hannah..." I said as we rolled our eyes.
"Well, I second their notion. Remember, I missed your wonderful lunch, I'm entitled to some food." Lance said.
"So then where to, sAH-rAH?" AJ asked.
"AHH shut up with that, AJ!" Jenny screamed at him, "I said that once and now...just SHUT UP!"
"Yeah, Bone, we already told you to before..." Kevin said.
"You can say it right without emphasizing it, I know you can," Nick joked, patting AJ on the head.
"SORRY!" AJ threw up his hands in defeat.
"Sokay, I'm getting used to it," I replied. I thought, then grinned, "Anyways, how's about some fresh, warm, delicious, sweet, cinnamony, crispy outside, soft inside, melt-in-your-mouth churros?"
"Damn, woman, my mouth is already watering, and I wasn't the one complaining of hunger!" AJ replied.
"Yeah..." said Nick looking hungrier, "Where!?!?!"
"That way, " I sighed, pointing out the direction of the nearest churro cart I could think of.
"Exit.... stage left!" AJ said with a goofy face, acting like the pink cartoon panther. Brian quickly looked at Julie, it seemed like he was gonna attempt to talk to her, but Nick grabbed him and ran in the direction I had pointed out. Julie still looked worried. I didn't know what to do. I dropped back with her again behind the group, motioning for Hannah and Jenny to join me. We let the guys run off with their hunger (Brian, Nick, AJ leading as Kevin, Howie, and Lance shrugged and followed), hoping their imminent return for better directions would take awhile.
"Soo, watcha gonna do?" I asked her.
"Dunno" was all she could say.
"'Bout what?" Hannah and Jenny asked in unison.
        "Brian kissed her--" I began.
        "WHEN!?" Jenny screamed, excited.
"Space Mountain, just before the ride started," Julie mumbled.
"Do you like him?" Hannah asked.
"Like I said before, I like him AND Nick." Julie complained. "But that's just a stupid idol thing. I barely know either of them..."
"So why can't you just go with the two of 'em?" Hannah laughed, then cut her smile short when Jenny and I shot her a look. "Sorry, I was just saying..." she trailed off.
"Talk to him," Jenny encouraged her.
"I want to, but I don't want to. I mean, I haven't gotten to talk to him yet. And what am I supposed to say?!...'Um, hey Brian, you wanna explain why you kissed me?'...No!" she         wailed.
"Actually... yeah," Jenny smiled but then shrugged, out of suggestions. I then spotted the churro cart with the boys nowhere in sight.
"Hey...um.... I think the guys got lost..." I commented. This made Jenny and Hannah giggle, thinking of 6 grown men getting lost trying to find churros in Disneyland. Julie thought the same thing, and finally cracked a smile.
        "Stupid idiots," Jenny laughed.
"...Who can't even find churros in Disneyland!" Hannah added, "Hey, I betcha they are in Frontier Land wondering where WE went..." This made Julie's smile turn into a giggle. We were all laughing by now, trying to think of where the boys could have gone.
"And what, may I ask, is soooooo funny...?" We heard a now familiar raspy voice behind us.
        "YOU...Duh, AJ" Jenny replied.
"Hey, where WERE you guys!?!?" Hannah mainly asked Lance.
        "Um, getting churros..." He answered.
"Yeah, we know that...but the churros car is right THERE," She said pointing in front of us.
"Ooohhhh, " Lance sheepishly smiled, "We found a cart selling them in front of the castle...we were wondering where you guys were..."
"HAHA, you guys, close enough! Gimmie five!" Hannah shouted at his remark. We all gave her high and low fives, then we broke down into laughter remembering our recent conversation.
"Uh, I missing something here...?" AJ spoke again.
"YEAH...Duh, AJ," Jenny repeated, laughing even harder. AJ formed an utterly confused look on his face, which the others imitated immediately, finding themselves confused about our laughter as well.
"Can you guys NOT find your way around Disneyland or something?" I started, catching my breath. They opened their mouths in objection, making me burst out in laughter again.
"W, W, WHY on earth are we laughing soo much?" was all Julie could get out.
"I dunno, you COULD tell us..." Howie hinted.
"Ok, ok...I can breath...see," I tried to start, but Hannah, who had just controlled her laughter, burst out again, setting off the once-controlled Jenny.
"WHAT is so funny!??!?!?" Howie demanded.
"I bet we are the butt of this joke, I can feel it." Nick commented.
"At least YOU would be, Nick," Brian snickered.
"Sarah, Julie, c'mon you guys, calm down, tell us..." Kevin urged, totally curious.
"Phew...ok, ok, I'm not looking at the girls or I swear I will die laughing again," I stated turning to the boys, "See, we came here, to this cart, where I thought I had directed you guys. We had been behind you, and finally realized that you were nowhere in sight. Hannah mentioned you were probably in Frontier Land or something wondering where we were, then Lance explained, and she laughed cuz her sarcastic guess had been close, and, and...it's just so stupid it's funny!" I broke down again. By now, we were all teary-eyed, it was just a full-blown laugh attack. We had gotten the guys to join at the end; we had looked so idiotic, they had to laugh, at us...We finally calmed down and caught out breath.
"HEY, no churros for us, eh? Well then!" I said noticing the guys finishing off their churros. Each had gotten one for themselves, except for Nick, AJ, and Brian; they had each gotten two.
"Ohhh, sorry, um, do you guys want one?" Kevin tried to apologize.
"Oh, trying to make up for being wrong, eh? Do we accept that, girls? Hannah asked.
"Hmmm, I dunno, should we?" Julie pretended to ponder.
"Hey, if we get them some, I want another one!" AJ informed us.
        "Me too!" Brian said.
"Me three! They are Nummy nummy for my Tummy!" Nick grinned, making Julie smile.
        "Look, we're sorry!" Lance said.
Hannah walked up to him and poked him in his stomach with her index finger, "You SHOULD be!"
"Okay then...buy us some churros!" Jenny concluded.
"Four churros coming right up!"  Howie walked off towards the 'correct' churro cart.
"Hey, we want some too..." AJ, Brian, and Nick yelled after him.
"Get your own, pigs" was the response they got.
"HEY...what ever happened to Autopia?!" Lance broke in as us girls finished our churros.
"Oh yeah...well...if it weren't for some idiot guys we know..." Hannah started, grinning.
"Oh shut up!" He stuck his tongue out at her.
"Not the tongue! Ahh!" Jenny yelled smiling. Lance raised an eyebrow in question. "Sorry, earlier instance, maybe we can explain it later..."
"Ohh ok...c'mon! Autopia here we come!" Lance declared raising a finger in the air, turning, and marching off.
"Ummm, other way," I told him, pointing towards the visible area for the ride.
"Oh yeah, I knew that," he insisted, smiling, and turning changing directions.
We got into yet another line. Lance was first, then Hannah. Next was Nick, AJ, Jenny, and Howie. Kevin was behind him, then there I stood. After me was Julie, and finally Brian. The line was sluggish as we expected. AJ started to complain again, then shut up when Jenny raised her elbow in warning; both Howie and Nick laughed at his as AJ glared at them, simply stating he didn't want anymore bruises. Lance was rattling on about this being his favorite ride, Hannah taking it all in. Brian finally got to talk to Julie.
