Bri&Jen - tension
*Bri feels she gave up too easily, went with it originally to let her be happy with life, regrets that he gave in, bitter about how its turned out
*Jen ignores anything that may still be there, tries to act like nothing happened between them, deep down mad at self, wondering about what could have been
CK & AJ - awkward, then back to old friendship
*AJ confused and not willing to believe Chin's "just be friends, no real difference"...wants to know what really went wrong, but doesn’t want to push it, still loves Chin, but glad to have friendship back once its again established
*CK deathly scared of Rebecca and what she might to do to AJ, still loves him but believes what has happened is for the best, tries to deal with just friendship, scared AJ doesn't love her anymore tho she loves him
Hannah & Lance, Howie & Kat - all together
Only couples still together and going strong...feel bad for others... try not to choose sides...peacemakers...
Nick & Julie - not facing it
*Nick "testing waters" - Julie in back of mind but pushes it away and keeps "playing the field"...tries to convince self that he's not ready for anything serious or permanent
*Julie throws self into newspaper to forget about the pain - tries not to be around when Nick's in the house
Kev&Sarah
*Kev - subconsciously really cares for Sarah but confuses it with really good friendship..."what if" thing early on but tries to forget about it...realizes it's love when he almost loses her from the accident and can't stand it that she attaches to Brian, not him...waits patiently for anything
*Sarah - cares for Kevin but ignores it and tries to focus and help everyone else through the rough times, ignores own depression...later confuses with feelings of love and depression that are trying to resurface after crash & amnesia... doesn’t believe anyone can love her, pushes Kevin away for his "own good"

*Summer Tour - Talk of BSB taking a break
*November - meeting...Sarah & Kev ["what if?" scene--in part 2]...Nick&Julie break up, "testing the waters", Julie pretends not to be hurt
__2002__
*January - Jenny leaves for internship, Brian agrees to breakup to keep Jenny happy...'silently understood' in airport
*March - Meeting...Disneyland trip for SV's birthday seems odd
*April - AJ stays for anniversary after other guys go back...but he& Chin break up......Chin scared cuz of Rebecca...AJ had ring...24 red roses & vase shattered
*May - graduation...everyone comes back, but no AJ (solo tour) or Jen (intern)
