I have a few things to say.
First of, your website kicks ass! LoL, I LOVE THE SOAP BOX!!! LoL. That
girl, Ash...dude! She needs a life! First of all, if she's an Nsync fan,
then why the hell is she going to a freaking Backstreet Boys' web page?
Second, she's yelling at YOU for dissing NSYNC???? HA! What a hypocrite!
Well I have my own 2 cents to put in about that. But first, I'll tell you
something else, the next time someone yells at you for speaking your mind?
Just shove the first amendment of: FREEDOM OF SPEECH in their faces! Another
thing, Where do thoses BITCHES go off about BSB girlfriends? If they loved
them, they would want them to be happy! Hey! Those of you saying that they'll
divorse and marry you? I laugh in your face!! YOU AND 10 MILLION OTHERS!!!
HA! I used to like Nsync to. {And I'm not proud of it either!} Then I relized
how pathic they are. First, they started coping BSB Big time, then, they
have the nerve to DISS a FAN??!!?? Wait, I got to tell you this one. My
friend Beth, who was 18 at the time is VERY sensitive. She was OBSESSED
w/ Nsync. So, she went to New York City to see them on MTV. A few hours
after the show she had a breif, but very sad encounter w/ them. Justin,
JC, and Chris were the ones she saw. When she approched the 3 of them for
an autograph, Justin just sneered and said: "Get away from us!" Then he,
and his two 'disiples' walked away. UGH! That pissed me off SO much. In
no time at all I was COMPLETLEY ANTI-NSUCK!!! I even went out and brought
a shirt that says "N*SUCK" You gotta love the remarks I get from that.
BUT WAIT! THERES MORE!! ::Cheesy anouncer's voice:: We'll also give you
the wanna-be Nick Carter doll! An authentic Justin Timberlake doll! At
interveiws he'll were the same outfit as Nick, AND tell the same jokes!!
{I was very angry to turn on MTV to see an interveiw w/ Justin wearing
the SAME outfit Nick was wearing on an interveiw early in the month AND
tell the same jokes!} It makes me sick! A friend of mine who wishes to remain
ononomous has an uncle who works for Jive Records. She came to me and told
me what her uncle overheard Chris saying. {And boy was I PEEVED when I heard
this!} She said that her uncle heard this out of Chris' mouth to JC: "Did
you hear about poor little Howie's sister's death? I wish he'd die just
as his sister did!" I was fumming for days on end. Which brings me to ANOTHER
POINT!! {Can you tell? I'm Itallian, a New Yorker [Whole life] and I'm PMSing...}
STOP DISSING HOWIE!!! I'm not saying you have, as far as I know, but other
people are! He is NOT an ugly troll, he is NOT a worthless spic, and he
is NOT a mean self-centered person! As I've already stated, my friend's uncle
works for Jive. He told me personally that Howie is one of the sweetest
people hes ever met. And I certainly DON't think that Howie is ugly! Another
thing that pisses me of is this, Why do "FANS" only like them for their
looks? If you were a true BSB fan, you would like them for their music,not
only their looks! And your not a fan if you like ONLY ONE member!!!! PUUULEAZE!!!!
Those people are PATHETIC!!! Poor exscuse for a BSB fan. Gives a bad name
for the rest of us! Well, I think I've said enough for one day. I'm sure
your sick of me already. But, If you could, please tell people who E-mail
you w/ either hate mail {ASH} or people who give you mail like this, basically
opinionated mail that I have a E-mail addy that's just waiting for them.

Hi. I just read the soap box on
"significant others" and I have a few things to say. First, it isn't against
the law for them to be happy. I'm quite thrilled to see Kevin and Kristin
married, they are such a cute couple. And when I heard about Brian and Leighanne,
I was happy, tho sad, too, in a way. I s'pose I was dissapointed. And anyway,
some of us real fans, the ones who don't send hate mail to Leighanne or
Kristin or Willa or Amanda or any of the Backstreet Chicas ever, actually
care enough about our BSB faves to be supportive. But when the rumors fly
about how the BSCs changed them (I have heard that Brian has changed since
the engagement) we get pissed. Because we don't want anyone changing our
sweet innocent Brian. I never said it was true, but it still catches that
twinge in my heart when I hear she's turnin him into a meany. Also, all
the GFs are stick thin. There's nothing wrong with that, per say, but what
about those ten year old's mentalities? They, especially the "bigger" kiddies,
go out and say Well, since they have skinny girlfriends, I can't get a cutie
to go out with me. So all through their lives they aim much lower in the
guy department than they should and their whole life is sorta screwed up.
And I'm not sayin that Kevin and Brian should be marrying fat chicks, but
isn't it a possibility that the hate mail comes from those who are jealous
because of that fact? Maybe? And lastly, the Brian quote posted was true,
except the last line, in my humble opinion. "And someone to bounce things
off." Sounds to me like he's saying that having a fiancee/girlfriend/wife
grabs every bad comment about himself and sticks it to the girl. But that's
just me, I tend to jump to conclusions anyway. And believe me, I am a true
blue BSB fan thru and thru. And don't take this as hate mail, cos I was
just trying to state my opinions without hurting ppls feelings...and I'm
sorry if I did anywhere.

Hey sv, I just read the soapbox and I have my own comments to add. Hopefully you want to add them on.
First off, what right do teenyboppers have to get pissed off about Brian and Kevin getting married? I can answer that one: NONE WHATSOEVER!!! They should be trying to get their own man instead of fantasizing about something that's never gonna happen. If they're happy--and I'm sure they are, otherwise they wouldn't be married--then why are all the so-called fans getting mad, anyway? If they were real fans, they'd be happy for them instead of bashing Kristin and Leighanne.
That brings me to another thing; so what if they have girls? They're men, enough said. It's not something they've done to piss off everyone that claims they're a fan, it's just human nature for a guy to wanna be happy with the woman he loves. I wanted to cry when I found out (on MTV's Fanatic) they all had girlfriends, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized they just want someone to love them for who they really are, even when they're a pain in the ass ::runs as teenyboppers try to kill me::. Here's another thing to think about, girls: would you prefer them to be attracted to GUYS? I mean, come on. At least they're straight.
Oh, and do you girls wanna know something? They probably get EXTREMELY PISSED OFF when fans trash their girls or send hate mail. Those Boys care about how their significant other feels, and I bet it hurts their feelings to know some of their fans don't support their personal decisions.
If the Boys ever read this somehow, I just wanna say this; DON'T LISTEN TO THE IDIOTS! They're just jealous because someone else has the person (or people) they fantasize about. I support BSB all the way.
Personally, I'm glad Kevin and Brian are married because now the "fans" are showing their true colors. It's separating the people who truly love their music and have real support for them from the imposters--you know, the teenyboppers who just want them for their looks and probably are stupid enough to fall for *NSUCK's I-wanna-be -a-Backstreet-Boy-but-I-wasn't-good-enough-so-they-stuck-me-in-this-sorry-ass-group-that-has-to-copy-our-betters routine.
About *NSUCK; yeah, I used to be a fan of theirs ::shudders at the memory::, but now I know better. Chris's voice is incredibly annoying and gets on my nerves ALMOST as much as nails on a chalkboard. JC is the only good singer in the whole group, but no one ever notices him because Justin gets all the attention. I swear, JUSTIN IS THE NICK CARTER CLONE THAT GOT SCREWED UP AND WAS NEVER CONSIDERED FOR BSB. JC could be a great songwriter if he got away from the others. Here's a list of all the songs he co-wrote on No Strings Attached: Space Cowboy, No Strings Attached (the title track, for cryin' out loud!), Digital Get-Down (can we say "CYBER"?), and Bringin' Da Noise. Okay, the songs themselves need work, but if he got away from the bubble-gum, I bet he'd be great. Now who has the last laugh on *NSUCK? HA HA HA!
One last comment before I end
this: WHAT ABOUT AARON? I mean, he's in Nick's shadow because they're brothers
and look so much alike. Personally, I first saw Aaron performing on Nickelodeon
and thought, "What happened to Nick? He looks younger now, his voice is
different...wait, that's not Nick. WHAT?!? His brother? Guess it runs
in the family." I hope Aaron gets out of that view and makes it on his own
without being compared to Nicky.

here, i think your website is great, down to
earth, in true BSB loving style,
but (there's always a but) i don't think its
right that you (sometimes) and
other "fans" that write you criticize all
those other girls that are upset
the BSB have girls, fiancees, etc., etc., im
NOT saying that its right for them
to send the girls hate mail or to stop
being a fan entirely or to call
the guys traitors, but theyre hurt, they feel
betrayed in a way. i understand
where theyre comin from coz i felt the same
way when i heard the news on TRL.
all im trying to say, is that you shouldn't
belittle the fans who were hurt
by the "great news" or claim that theyre not
true fans, because it isn't true.
youre perfectly entitled to your opinion,
but don't bring down all the girls
who dont agree with you. maybe you werent
as affected as the rest of us were,
thats great, less hurt f! or you, but for
those of us who were seriously
upset and angry over the whole thing, have a
little more empathy and respect.
